If you have 10,000 Guapcoin, congratulations! You can setup your own Masternode! Be prepared to do some learning and follow the instructions carefully. If you're new to processing transactions in the desktop wallet, it's a good idea here (and with crypto in general) to start with sending a few coins (like 1-10) before sending large amounts so that you make sure you're doing it right and having it go through. No one can get your coins back if you accidentally put in an address wrong. You can choose to self-host your masternode where you setup the code on a VPS server, or use a 3rd party where they run the code on their servers. Either option lets you keep t…

An Order Book - Bids and Asks On A Crypto Exchange: A 'BID' comes from a buyer who wants a certain number of Guapcoins (or i.e. shares when dealing with stocks) for a specified price. An 'Ask' comes from a seller who wants a specific price for their Guapcoins (or i.e. shares when dealing with stocks). A Trade Spread is the gap between the highest bid offer and the lowest ask offer on an order book. A major spread is indicative of low liquidity. Low Liquidity will make it more difficult to convert your Guapcoins into other crypto/tokens or cash fiats (USD, etc.).

Wallets!!! So, what are wallets? What are the different types? Why so many wallets? And, which type of wallet should I go with?! Those may be some of the questions you may have, being new to this! It’s important to understand what the masternode private key is used for. It does not give access to any funds in your wallet and it is not a ‘normal’ private key that would full access to your wallet. The masternode private key allows the external wallet (on a Vitual PrivateServer, VPS) that runs the masternode software to be connected to the local wallet (often on your PC). The local wallet on your PC can then control the masternode (send start/stop commands to it). The masternode private keys are used to encrypt the messaging between the Network and the nodes (identifier). A wallet private key allows you to access your coins in that wallet address, import the wa…

STAKING You may be asking "What is staking?" Glad you ask, because I said the same thing, 🤣. Trust me, as you go on this journey there will be a lot of "What you talking about Willis?" moments. Basic Intro to XGuap https://www.xguap.com/ Hey Guap Family,I just wanted to share my perspective and understanding about XGuap that Tavonia and her team are currently working on. Keep in mind this is a short summary and you'll want to dig further by reading the websites and published papers, and also researching the technology that's referenced, but I'm hoping this at least gives some basic clarity and keeps the community dreaming about what's possible. Important: You don't need XGuap unless you want to trade Guapcoin on a decentralized exchange like PancakeSwap or participate in defi activities that would require XGuap. Take a look at the website and you'll …
